Brighouse Town left-back Mikey Starkey has moved across Kirklees and joined Golcar United.
The former Huddersfield Town youngster signs for the promotion-chasing side prior to the long trip to Cleator Moor Celtic tomorrow.
Starkey signed for Brighouse two years after several seasons with Emley.
A win at Cleator Moor will guarantee Golcar will be joint top of the table at Christmas at the very least.
If they win and Bury AFC lose or draw at Campion then Ash and Gav Connor’s men will be the outright leaders.
