Sam Dexter’s Ilkley Town picked up a useful point against play-offs chasing Bacup Borough at the Ben Rhydding Sports complex.
The draw lifts them out of the relegation zone on goals difference for Christmas.
Ilkley raced into the lead at star man Kevin Gonzalez went through and smashed home with a fine striker cross the goal.
Bacup equalised with 20 minutes to go when they scored from a free kick.
