Derry Robson punches the air after Pontefract Collieries hold giants FC Halifax Town to a 0-0 draw to put themselves in the hat for the FA Cup First Round

Pontefract Collieries have confirmed the exits of goalkeeper Ryan Musselwhite and midfielder Derry Robson.

Both players have new clubs lined up.

The pair were a big part of the unforgettable and epic FA Cup fourth-qualifying round battle with FC Halifax Town.

Musselwhite’s association with Ponte goes deeper as he was their stopper during the 2018 Toolstation NCEL Premier Division triumph.

Former Goole AFC and Belper Town midfielder Robson only joined the Colls in pre-season.

“Both of them have found game-time hard to come by in recent weeks,” Craig Rouse told Non League Yorkshire.

“But when we look over the course of the season both have made good impacts.

“I want to wish them both well.

“They have both been good to deal with and both been professional so the clubs that are getting them are getting decent people.”
