Bradford (Park Avenue) took another leap towards safety after a fast start delivered the 2-1 win over Leamington at Horsfall Stadium.

Mark Bower’s men are now 15th with 30 points – 12 clear of the relegation zone – and cautiously looking up the table.

Bower praised Oli Johnson for his contributions for towards Brad Dockerty’s hot-streak and that how the first goal was scored in the second minute.

Johnson played the killer pass and young Dockerty found the net.

Nicky Clee’s corner was then buried by Luca Havern in the 13th minute.

Avenue had a nervy finish to the match as Leamington pulled one back with plenty of time left.

York City, Guiseley and Farsley Celtic are in action this evening.

York visit Chorley, Farsley travel to Gateshead while Guiseley host Brackley Town.

FC Halifax Town are away at Notts County in a massive National League clash.
