Ben Grech-Brooksbank earned Thackley victory in the Bradford derby with Albion Sports.

The former Ossett Albion striker headed home Lawrance Hunter’s free kick in the 50th minute to hand Thackley a 1-0 win in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.

Albion’s Kamron Basi was sent off late in the game.

Swallownest lost 5-1 in their Division One clash with Retford FC. 

James Woodhouse brought parity at one stage in the first half.

Scarborough Athletic striker Jake Day

Jake Day’s last gasp winner propelled Scarborough Athletic into the North Riding Senior Cup semi-finals.

The goal sealed a 1-0 defeat of local rivals Whitby Town.

In the NPL Division One East, Brighouse Town were beaten 2-0 at home by Cleethorpes Town.

FC Halifax Town manager Pete Wild

Ten man FC Halifax Town held out for a very credible 1-1 draw at National League play-offs rivals Notts County.

Pete Wild’s men had to play with ten men for 55 minutes as Jack Senior was sent off for two bookable offences.

His departure came 17 minutes after striker Aaron Martin had given Halifax a dream lead.

Elisha Sam scored the equaliser on the stroke of half-time.

Russ Wilcox’s Farsley Celtic remain in serious relegation danger after losing 3-1 at National North title challengers Gateshead.

Chris Atkinson scored a very late consolation for Farsley.
