Dave Anderson’s Barton Town Old Boys recorded their fourth consecutive win

Barton Town Old Boys 3-2 Athersley Recreation

Leading scorer Scott Phillips came off the bench to fire an 82nd minute winner for Barton Town Old Boys in a 3-2 win over Athersley Recreation.
The opener came on 2 minutes when Gareth Owen was hauled down in the box and Ash Lattimore calmly slotted home the penalty. Chance after chance came and went but eventually the pressure told and it was Owen who was on hand to slide past the impressive Athersley shot stopper Shaun Penn.
However Josh Moore pulled it back to 2-1 on 42 minutes and Daniel Joynes levelled the game on 59 minutes with a fine strike.
The game was wide open until Corey Mortimer swung in a great cross and Scott Phillips was on hand to crash home his 11th goal of the season and seal a 4th win on the bounce for Barton.
Barton Town Old Boys: White, Gowans, Dexter, Barlow, Belcher, Kirk, Paylor, Smith, Sherwood, Owen, Lattimore. Subs: Gill, Mortimer, Phillips.

Handsworth Parramore 2-3 Pickering Town

Pickering Town stunned Handsworth after turning around a half-time deficit.
Billy Logan gave Pickering an early lead, but Handsworth hit back with goals from Luke Fletcher and Sam Smith.
Pickering quickly levelled after the break with Lewis Taylor scoring with an effort from the edge of the box.
The away side then hit the winner with 20 minutes left with a finish from Joe Danby.
That’s how the scores remained and Handsworth suffered a late blow when substitute Alan Quinn was sent off.

Tadcaster Albion 3-0 Liversedge

Tadcaster went back to the top of the Premier Division table with a comfortable win.
Josh Greening’s unbelievable form continued with another goal which gave his side the lead on the half hour mark.
George Bissett added the second to ensure that Taddy were in control at the break.
Calum Ward sealed the victory in the second half.

Thackley 1-1 Garforth Town

In an evenly-matched contest, Garforth stopper Ben Hunter had made some good saves and the Miners had created a lot of good chances themselves.
Neither could force the breakthrough until the 50th minute when Thackley went in front. Ryan Farrell beat Jack McCarthy on the left and put a low ball into the box which was turned in by Delroy White.
Nine mins later though Garforth had an equaliser. Jay Davis did well to pick out Nick Black in space who found the net with a neat finish into the far corner.

Division One

AFC Emley 1-0 Penistone Church

An early second half goal from Alex Hallam kept Emley at the top of the table in front of a large crowd of 146.

Clipstone 2-0 Knaresborough Town

Knaresborough fell to a defeat at Clipstone, who have won every single league match this season.
The home side were kept tight for the early part of the match and Will Lenehan headed wide from a Graham Whitehead corner early on before Ian Ward had a shot saved.
Matt Duerden then headed wide from Craig Radcliffe’s corner before Paul Hagreen made a good save to deny Dan Wood for Clipstone.
Graham Whitehead volleyed over but the remainder of the half saw the home side dominate and Rich Mintoft headed wide from a corner.
Matty Ord then should have done better when Hagreen dropped a corner under pressure, but the forward placed his shot wide.
The opening goal arrived in the 42nd minute when a cross-field pass found Steve Carty and he managed to slide home.
Ian Ward turned well on to a Fraser Lancaster pass and shot over soon after the break and soon afterwards Byron Littlefair had a shot saved, but then Clipstone took control of the match for the first time and remained the forceful side for the remainder of the match.
Hagreen tipped away a fine shot from Blake Owen and the same player broke free only to fire wide.
Two more chances were scrambled away before a second, clinching goal came in the 66th minute when Matt Austin side-footed home after a corner was not properly cleared.
Lenehan headed wide from a Whitehead free kick and Bradley Walker, on his debut, fired over in added time as Knaresborough briefly pressed, but Clipstone fully deserved their points.

Louth Town 2-2 Hemsworth Miners Welfare

Louth were fortunate to still have eleven men on the field when Lee Croft converted a cross past Jake Bentley 28 mins for Louth.
Under-strength Hemsworth equalised early on in the second when Nash Connolly crossed from the right and Robbie Crapper rose to head home.
It wasn’t long before Hemsworth had turned the game on it’s head as on 62 minutes Connolly hit a swerving shot from 30 yards out which found the bottom corner to give the away team a deserved lead.
Hemsworth pressed for more goals, but failed to score and Louth hit back in the dying seconds.
Jack Steers rose to win the header from a free kick the but the ball deflected into the net off Carl Martin to give Louth an unlikely point.

Teveral 2-4 Eccleshill United

Eccleshill took a 14th minute lead when Doug Stevenson crossed to Victor Balis whose glancing header was heading into the bottom corner.
Dave Cockerill then levelled the scores from the penalty spot before Matt Burrus restored Eccleshill’s lead – also from 12 yards.
For the first time in the afternoon Eccleshill put some day light between them and their host when from the restart the ball was worked out to James Voissey to fire across goal.
Cockerill scored again for Teversal, but Adam McCabe sealed the points for resurgent Eccleshill.
Eccleshill United: Cashen, Hendrie, Turner (Voissey 0 – Rosenstraugh 63), Queere, Conde, Burrus, Flaherty, Stevenson, Balis (Reis 67), McCabe, Rodgers. Subs unused: Dixon, Cook.

Worsbrough Bridge 4-3 Winterton Rangers

Worsbrough found themselves 3-0 down after ten minutes in this encounter, but remarkably hit back to dramatically win in the dying seconds.
Worsbrough got their lifeline through Danny Cawley on 34 minutes. Andy Broadbent then pulled another back after Kane Reece was fouled on the edge of box.
Winterton were also reduced to ten men at this point and Worsbrough scented blood.
On the hour the equaliser arrived – Mark Kokot’s penalty drew his side level.
Winterton were then down to nine men with another red card and Worsbrough just kept piling the pressure on.
The winner arrived with just minutes left on the clock.
Danny Hoyland’s run down the left ended with a cross and Broadbent was there to score.
Worsbrough Bridge: Oxley, Lycett (Bryan), Hoyland, Taylor, Laigh, Cawley, Bouffon, Broadbent, Kokot, Reece, Bradbury (Colton). Subs unused: Lane, Warren, Evans.
