Three of Terry Simon’s young guns fired Wombwell Main to a 4-1 win over Jubilee Sports.

Double goal-scorer Owen Sykes and fellow youngsters Ben Knox and Atley Jackson hit the target to put Wombwell level on points with fifth-placed Wakefield AFC.

Oughtibridge War Memorial did the rest of the title contenders a favour by holding leaders Swinton Athletic to a 2-2 draw.

Penistone Church Reserves attacker Ryan Hallsworth

Penistone Church Reserves could go alright leaders if they win their game-in-hand as they are a point behind Swinton as they beat High Green Villa 5-0.

Perennial hero Jack Moore kick-started the win.

Ryan Hallsworth, Jack Roberts, Will Stead and Florent Fadiga completed the win.

Sheffield Town beat Stocksbridge Park Steels Reserves 4-2.
