Nash Connolly put Hemsworth ahead

Hemsworth Miners Welfare kept their survival hopes alive after winning 2-0 in the huge six-pointer with Albion Sports.

The Wells simply had to win and the victory puts them two points behind Albion who have three games-in-hand.

Club legend Nash Connolly smashed in the opener on the stroke of half-time.

Jay Davis then hit the second goal straight after the interval.

Handsworth’s Anthony Mackie scored again

Handsworth won 3-0 at Knaresborough Town despite the controversial first half red card handed to Rob Ludlam.

Prolific goal-scorer Anthony Mackie gave Handsworth a 12th minute lead.

Handsworth were reduced to ten men on the stroke of half-time after a long range strike hit a divot and hit Ludlam on the arm.

He walked for ‘denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity’ but it failed to stop Handsworth in their tracks.

Mitch Dunne added the second goal before supplying the ammunition for Jimmy Eyles’ goal.

Maltby goal-scorer Connor Cutts

Maltby Main battled out a 1-1 draw with Silsden.

Connor Cutts’ opener was cancelled out by captain Joe Austin’s own goal.

Silsden finished with ten men as Antony Brown was sent off.
