Defender Jerry White bowed out in memorable fashion as Steeton recorded their highest finish as a Non League club.
‘Jerry White Day’ began just how it should with former Thackley defender White heading home his first and final goal for Steeton who eventually won 4-2 against Bacup Borough.
Bacup equalised early in the second half but Andy Briggs and Kayle Price (2) ensured maximum points for Roy Mason’s side.
Steeton have finished 12th with 47 points, overall a decent total during their first season at Marley Stadium.
