Corner scores FIVE for Ferriby while Swallownest grab crucial win

North Ferriby striker Tom Corner

Tom Corner scored five times for North Ferriby who hammered Teversal 8-1 in front of almost 500 people.

Josh Whiteley’s early opener was cancelled out in the 22nd minute but Ferriby soon found their shooting boots and Niall Tilsley got two alongside Corner’s big goal salvo.

Jack Haslam and James Woodhouse both scored first half doubles as Swallownest won 4-3 in the huge clash with FC Humber United.

Swallownest need one more win to secure survival unless Humber drop points in one of their final three games.

Red Bates, George Green and Eddy Wileman scored for Humber.

Hall Road Rangers go into the final day with a good chance of clinching a top ten spot after winning 4-1 at Parkgate.

Henry Curtis, Sam Robinson (2) and Chris Spinks found the net.

Glasshoughton Welfare’s season continued to fade out poorly after Rainworth Miners Welfare condemned them to a 3-1 defeat.

James Cusworth scored in the last minute for Glassy.
