Yorkshire Amateur defender Ryan Serrant brought the curtain down on his career after the 2-1 defeat to title-chasing Marske United.
Serrant announced his retirement, bringing an end to memorable Non League career.
Serrant, who is a former Leeds United academy player, joined Farsley Celtic during the latter stages of the 2006/07 season.
He helped them win the unforgettable Conference North play-off final against Hinckley United during the same season and he was part of the Farsley side who played in the top flight of Non League Football.
From October 2008 to the end of the 2016/17 season, he was a virtual ever-present under Neil Parsley.
He stayed around when the club folded in 2010 and he helped Parsley guide Farsley to the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title at the first attempt.
Because of his loyalty, consistency and reliability, Serrant is one of Farsley’s greatest players.
The decision to pack up ends his four years with Yorkshire Amateur where he has enjoyed one promotion, helping the Leeds-based club reach unprecedented heights.
He also had a successful stint with Shaw Lane AFC in 2017/18 where a trophy and a televised FA Cup first round appearance were achieved.
