Chris Bolder wants to see North Ferriby push on next season when they take their place in the top flight of the NCEL.
Ferriby claimed their first promotion as a reformed club last week and Bolder is hoping his club will have another strong season in 2022/23.
“We knew that when we first took over that the ambition is get the football club back up the pyramid,” Bolder told Non League Yorkshire.
“The facilities and the infrastructure is all in place for the football club to climb its back up to the higher leagues.
“That’s still the main ambition and in our eyes, we say that job one is done and we need to start on the second part of it.
“That’s working towards getting out of the next league.
“(Winning promotion again) has to be our aspiration.
“We’ll go up and respect and that we are going into a tougher league against some well-established teams.
“We have always tried to build a team that we felt could cope at higher levels and we firmly believe these players are capable of moving the club in the right direction and being a major part of it.
“We’ll have that self-belief that we will be at the right end of the table.”
Although Bolder believes his men are ready for the Premier Division, his recruitment policy is untouched.
“Nothing changes from what we have said in the past season,” he said.
“We’re always in a position where we are looking to bring players in that are going to strengthen what we have and add competition for places.
“I don’t think we’re in any different position.
“We’ll always have our ear to the ground and if players present themselves and we feel they will fit the bill on-and-off-the-field (we’ll look to bring them in).”
Niall Tilsley was the hero in the 3-2 play-off final victory over Harrogate Railway as he headed in the 87th minute winner.
For the club, it was a day to remember.
“There was eight minutes of stoppage time so there was still a long way to go (after the winner),” Bolder said.
“It was an eventual game.
“We led and then got pegged back.
“We led again and then got pegged back immediately.
“We then scored a fantastic winner in the closing stages of the game and it was a fantastic moment.
“The euphoria was amazing in front of a fantastic crowd.
“It was fantastic and the scenes at the end of game summed up how much people have invested their time and energy into the club.
“They have had a lot of disappointments and set-backs with a variety of things over many things.”
