Star Bradford (Park Avenue) attacker Brad Dockerty has signed for Alfreton Town.
Avenue offered the former Hemsworth Miners Welfare player an improved deal – one that would have made him one of their highest earners.
However, Dockerty, who joined Avenue in 2019, has made the decision to move to former FC Halifax Town and North Ferriby boss Billy Heath’s Alfreton Town.
Mark Bower said: “We are obviously disappointed that Brad has decided to move on, but we are grateful for his efforts and commitment to the club for the past three years.
“He has improved enormously over that period and I know he has enjoyed his time with us. We all wish him the best of luck for the future.”
