Bradford (Park Avenue) have sold one of the star players for an undisclosed fee.
Dylan Mottley-Henry has signed for North East giants South Shields after being given an offer he could not turn down.
NPL Premier Division side Shields, manager by Sunderland legend Kevin Phillips, have huge wealth and will be able to overpower Avenue on the financial front.
An Avenue statement said: “The club can today announce that Dylan Mottley-Henry has left the football club to join South Shields FC for an undisclosed fee.
“We are disappointed to see Dylan leave, but he felt that the full time football was best for his career.
“All the money received from the transfer will be invested back into the playing budget.”
Former Bradford city attacker Mottley-Henry was a key player last season when Avenue comfortably stayed up.
