Ex-Grimsby Town youngster Cameron Hough is staying. He joined Maltby last November.
Young Brandon Whitfield will carry on his development at Muglet Lane after committing.
Dawson and Whitehead’s first game in charge is due to be against Swallownest in the Chris Lill Memorial Trophy on Saturday.
