Trio re-sign for Maltby

Maltby Main star Jed McGowan

It won’t be a complete overhaul at Maltby Main as at least three players from last season are staying for the Andy Dawson and Lee Whitehead era.

The pair took training for the first time last night after leaving Parkgate to replace Russ Eagle.

Long-serving Jed McGowan has played over 100 games for Maltby and he looks set to add to his tally.

Ex-Grimsby Town youngster Cameron Hough is staying. He joined Maltby last November.

Young Brandon Whitfield will carry on his development at Muglet Lane after committing.

Dawson and Whitehead’s first game in charge is due to be against Swallownest in the Chris Lill Memorial Trophy on Saturday.
