Danny Patterson has returned to Ossett Town for a third spell and is in line to play on Tuesday night when the Ingfielders host Mossley.
Patterson left Shaw Lane Aquaforce days after Craig Elliott’s departure in February, but will now re-join his brother Richard at Ossett.
The former Handsworth midfielder originally played for Ossett during the 2012-13 season before moving to Worksop Parramore.
He returned last November for a few months before helping Shaw Lane win promotion in the Toolstation NCEL Division One title race.
Shaw Lane had added former Bradford City left-back Luke O’Brien to their squad.
O’Brien made his debut yesterday in the 2-1 win over Worksop Town.
The defender started the season at Thackley before a brief spell with Bradford (Park Avenue).
Tadcaster Albion have confirmed that Josh Greening is staying with the club after rejecting the advances of interested clubs.
Andy Patterson’s old assistant at Thackley is the new assistant manager of Glasshoughton Welfare.
Glasshoughton have also signed James Mackie from Thackley and Ryan O’Reilly from Selby Town.
