Farsley Celtic pulled off a stunning 3-0 victory at fancied Brackley Town to get their season up and running.
Brackley were reduced to ten men in the fifth minute and although Max Dearnley saved a penalty before half-time, luck was well in Farsley’s favour.
Jimmy Spencer scored twice before setting up Kian Scales for the third goal.
Scarborough Athletic also celebrated an incredible win as they were 2-0 winners away at title-favourites AFC Fylde.
Michael Coulson got both goals.
Bradford (Park Avenue) lost 1-0 at home to Kidderminster Harriers.
