Luke Forgione says “fine margins” are behind Worsbrough Bridge’s tough start.
Worsbrough have been unable to replicate last season’s brilliant start and the Barnsley-based side are near the foot of the table.
Results have picked up over the last six weeks but Bridge have been unlucky in numerous matches – including four 1-0 defeats.
“I think that’s how it feels (that we aren’t far away),” Forgione told Non League Yorkshire.
“We’re in games and we’re competitive.
“Games are about moments and fine margins.
“We have had a couple of games where we weren’t at it like when we lost convincingly at Nostell.
“Beverley came down and deserved to beat us on the night as well.
“Apart from that I always feel we’re in the games and being competitive.
“I looked the table (and it is a close Division)
“If you look at our form; we have had both Harrogate Railway and Staveley down here and given them both games along with Wakey and Selby recently.
“You could say we deserved something against Horbury so we’re in games.”
Worsbrough are away at Beverley Town this afternoon.
