Ten man Maltby Main scored three times in 11 late second half minutes to come back from the dead and incredibly win 3-2 at leaders North Ferriby.
Josh Whiteley had given Ferriby a 2-0 lead by half-time – seemingly unassailable as Maltby defender James Stafford had been sent off midway through the half.
Goalkeeper Dylan Parkin had also kept Maltby in it with a series of terrific saves.
A header from Freddy Tracey brought Maltby into the game and they just kicked on.
Soon it was 2-2 when a cross from Tom Almond was steered into the net – Tracey credited as the goal-scorer.
If the fact Maltby were level was unbelievable, how can you describe their winner.
That came from Callum Walton’s cross. Cameron Hough leapt and sparked euphoria for Maltby and disbelief for Ferriby.
Sixth-placed Silsden put in-form Handsworth to the sword in a 3-0 victory.
Lamin Janneh Gitteh, Luke Brooksbank and Talent Ndlovu netted.
Mick Carmody’s reign at Goole AFC ended with the 7-0 loss to Garforth Town.
Liam Woods scored twice for Garforth whose other goals came from James Burgess, Charlie Marshall, Rinor Ejupi, Sam Barker and Duke Witter.
Knaresborough Town won 2-0 at Bottesford Town – Cameron Bedford and Joe Navier scored.
Jay Davis’ penalty steered Hemsworth Miners Welfare to a 1-0 win at Albion Sports.
