Wakefield AFC manager Gabe Mozzini has strengthened his defence.
Maltby Main centre-back Haydn Ward has made the move across Yorkshire to link up with the Featherstone-based club.
Ward has been a first team regular for Maltby under Andy Dawson and Lee Whitehead until recently.
Ward previously played for Maltby’s joint managers at Parkgate.
He first came on the Non League scene at Nostell Miners Welfare during the Des Hazel era and then the beginning of Jason Dodsworth and Simon Houghton’s tenure.
