Shaw Lane Aquaforce have a further chance to add another chapter to their remarkable short history on Saturday.
The FA Vase adventure continues when Aquaforce chart new water by hosting the competition favourites Shildon in the third round tie – arguably the toughest opponent in the draw.
Craig Elliott and his players need a big crowd behind them for the latest biggest game in their history (kick off 3pm at Shaw Lane).
Barnsley-based Shaw Lane have been superb ambassadors for the Toolstation Northern Counties East League after their spectacular wins over Runcorn Linnets and West Auckland Town in the last two rounds.
Runcorn and West Auckland were the table-toppers of their respective leagues when the ties were played in November. West Auckland were even the joint favourites and the 3-0 win sent shockwaves throughout Non League football.
Shaw Lane are one of five clubs still flying the flag for the NCEL in the Vase.
Tadcaster Albion have a very winnable away tie at St Helens Town.
St Helens Town have already seen off two Yorkshire sides in Nostell Miners Welfare and Yorkshire Amateur.
However, Nostell delivered a poor performance and failed to give a true reflection of themselves.
The Ammers were major underdogs and were unlucky to lose 3-1 and St Helens have yet to face the might of a team of huge quality like Tadcaster.
Worksop Town, Heanor Town and AFC Mansfield are the only other NCEL clubs left in the competition.
The NCEL is hoping to have their first Vase finalist since 2003 this season.
Look out for interviews with Ian Richards (Penistone Church), Duncan Bray (Pontefract Collieries), Karl Rose (Frickley Athletic), Graham Nicholas (Garforth Town) and Lee Ashforth (Harrogate Railway) tomorrow.
