Brighouse Town manager Paul Quinn has swooped to sign midfield magician Jay Davis.
Davis has played at Garforth Town and Bradford (Park Avenue) this season and has built up a reputation for conjuring up moments of magic in front of goal.
The signing maintains Brighouse’s recent record of recruiting creative players.
Quinn told Non League Yorkshire: “It mainly came about through how it worked out at Bradford (Park Avenue) for him.
“We had a couple of recommendations from a couple of our lads who have played with him previously and have seen him play.
“He was keen to sign and keen to play at the highest level possible.
“He’s the type of player we like. He’s skilful and he can make things happen.
“That’s what we like about him.”
Davis is in the squad to face Radcliffe Borough in the Evo Stik Division One North on Saturday.
