Darren Hepworth has added Worsbrough Bridge striker Adam Podmore to his AFC Emley squad.
Hepworth recently said that he planned to bring someone with quality to Emley and Podmore fits the bill.
Although he has only scored twice this season, Podmore has been a feared player for Worsbrough in the last two campaigns.
The striker was a key player in Chris Hilton’s side which went the 2012-13 campaign unbeaten at home and then lost just four games at the Bridge last season.
Podmore will add more attacking options to Emley’s front-line ahead of a crucial Toolstation NCEL Division One clash with second-placed Hemsworth on Saturday.
Leaders Emley have seen their grip on the top spot loosened in recent weeks and they have gone four league games without a win.
