Lethal hit-man Danny Frost has returned to Shaw Lane Aquaforce to help fire them to the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title.

Frost scored both goals which clinched promotion from Division One last season in the nail-biting 2-2 draw with Knaresborough Town.

The former Frickley, Gainsborough and Pontefract striker was also their leading goal-scorer.

His arrival ahead of the Barnsley derby with Athersley Recreation tomorrow is likely to strike the fear of death into title rivals Worksop Town.

It also ensures Craig Elliott has strikers at his disposal at a time when Joe Thornton and Shane Kelsey are suspended.

Frost has a proven record of scoring goals at Conference North, Evo Stik and NCEL level and rejoins from Bradford (Park Avenue), who he joined last summer.

The 18 month deal he signed recently at Avenue has been terminated to facilitate the move.

The signing completes an excellent day at Shaw Lane after the signing of Ian Deakin.
