Garforth Town pulled off another memorable midweek away win with a 3-0 victory at Staveley Miners Welfare in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.
In extremely challenging conditions, Garforth took the lead against the run of play at the end of the first half.
Mark Simpson continued his prolific run of goals since his arrival at Wheatley Park in November with the strike.
Stanley were caught out on the counter attack for the second goal which came in the 77th minute – Luke Mangham the goal-scorer on this occasion.
Garforth rounded off the win in the final minute with Simpson scoring again.
The win adds Staveley to the list of midweek scalps that Garforth have taken. One that includes Heanor Town.
