Tadcaster Albion stole the bragging rights after Danny Gray’s late goal earned them a 2-1 win in the local derby at Garforth Town.
Tadcaster had to come from behind to record their first Toolstation NCEL Premier Division victory in five games.
It keeps alive their faint hopes of lifting the title as they still have to play leaders Worksop Town on the last day of the season.
Garforth are no mugs though having beaten a lot of the top teams this season and the home side peppered Tadcaster with a number of chances in the first half.

Mark Simpson and Luke Mangham went close before key striker Nick Black fired the Miners ahead.
Tawanda Rupere almost doubled the lead, but Tadcaster goalkeeper Pete Lawrie made the save.
Tadcaster soon hit back with former Garforth striker David Brown equalising with a lob over Ben Hunter.
Tadcaster created lots of chances in the second half. Lewis Clarkson hit the woodwork in an early show of intent.
Eventually, Albion got the winner with five minutes to go after a Tadcaster corner was punched down by Hunter. The ball dropped to the veteran Gray and the striker fired home the winner for his side.

“We were united as a group of players which was key. We went to Lincoln and got our first win in a few games which got the monkey off our back.
“Today was a massive game at Garforth. They have obviously beat Heanor, Staveley and they’re a good team.”
