FA Trophy winners North Ferriby United have been put up for sale – just weeks after their success at Wembley.
Steve and Eman Forster have decided that the time is right to move on after a year-and-half as owners of the Village club.
The husband and wife team are the son-in-law and daughter of Hull City owner Assem Allam.
A statement said: “After two very exciting years as owners of North Ferriby United we have decided that the time is now right for us to sell the club.
“From the start of our tenure our intention was to relieve the immediate financial burden on North Ferriby United and bring to it a financial stability that meant all efforts could be concentrated on the pitch.
“We feel the results of our investment speak for themselves, in particular the club’s recent success at Wembley.
“However, we also feel that we have achieved all we can at North Ferriby United and this, along with a desire to pursue our other interests, means the time is now right for us to step aside.
“We hope everyone associated with the club has enjoyed the last two years as much as we have. We would like to take this opportunity to wish North Ferriby United all the very best for the future.”
