Brighouse Town ensured their first Evo Stik Division One North campaign ended on a strong note as the 2-2 draw with Northwich Victoria extended their unbeaten run to seven games.
The draw secured a 14th place finish for Paul Quinn’s men.
Brighouse did not start so well as Josh Amis headed promotion-chasing Northwich in front.
Ernest Boafo’s sweet volley levelled the game on the the stroke of half-time.
After a sustained amount of pressure, Brighouse then went ahead at the start of the second half.
A long ball downfield caught the Northwich out and Ryan Hall scored past the on-rushing visiting goalkeeper.
The lead did not last for long though as Gary Burnett equalised with a stunning volley.
