Russ Eagle has joined the management team at Pontefract Collieries
Former Handsworth Parramore manager Russ Eagle has joined the management team at newly-promoted Pontefract Collieries.
Eagle will work alongside Duncan Bray and Nick Handley as Pontefract prepare to return to the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division after 16 years away.
It is a stellar appointment as Eagle has an impressive CV from spells with Parkgate, Maltby Main and Handsworth.
Bray said: “We had a huge amount of top quality interest in our recent advert. After the interview process it was clear that Russ was the man for us.
“He brings the qualities we need at the club to help us develop and strengthen and keep us moving forwards.
“We are passionate about building on our success last season and Russ will ensure we do just that.”
