Eleven of Pontefract Collieries’ promotion heroes have committed to play in their first season back in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division since 1999.
More signings old and new are expected to be confirmed in the coming days, but the initial batch of signatures show that Pontefract will have a strong team this season.
The defence is already looking solid with Craig Parry, Josh Corbett, Iwan Heeley, Tom Copping, Craig Robinson and Luke Danville pledging their allegiances to the Collieries for another campaign.
Midfielders Luke Forgione, Matty Marsden, Andy Catton and Mark Whitehouse are also staying.
Another big positive is the news that 32-goal hero Aaron Moxam, arguably the most important signing of the promotion campaign, is one of the eleven who have put pen-to-paper.
Long-serving striker Liam Radford is the final player who has committed to Ponte so far in pre-season.
