Two consecutive Evo Stik Division One North victories have given Lee Ashforth and Harrogate Railway real belief of beating Trafford tomorrow.
Railway are travelling over to Manchester to face former FC Halifax Town midfielder Tom Baker’s side on the back of wins over Radcliffe and Mossley.
“It is another massive test because not many teams will go there and get results,” Ashforth said.
“We need to have a look at that and plan accordingly in terms of how we are going to play.
“They are definitely a good side as they have some good players who have played at this level for a long time.
“We need to go there and forget about Monday night’s result. We have six points in the bag from the last two games, but we need to move on and start again on Saturday.
“It will be a difficult game, but we go there full of hope after the back-to-back wins.”
Harrogate had stuttering start to the campaign with the 6-0 defeat to Scarborough Athletic being the worst result.
However, apart from the departure of Cameron Lyn, Ashforth has remained loyal to his side.
Explaining why, he added: “We have had a settled side from the start.
“Everyone said we had a difficult start and we certainly didn’t panic.
“It is something we have built on in the last three years that we get our side together in pre-season and then we don’t panic and stick with them.
“The only player we have added is Nathaniel Pells from Harrogate Town. We aren’t going to turn players like that down.
“The players has always been good. I think we have a really good squad and I don’t see that we need to panic and bring massive amounts of players in.
“I think we have a good 16 and they are all deserving of a place in the starting eleven.
“That’s why we haven’t kept the same starting eleven for two games on the trot and I’ll continue to do that because with the small squad we have, we have to keep them all happy.”
