Non League stalwarts pass away

Two stalwarts of Non League Football have sadly passed away in the past few days. Former Farsley Celtic striker Keith Sanderson passed away suddenly at the weekend. Connor Brunt scored the winner for Ossett Albion in the solitary goal victory over Farsley Celtic in the Evo Stik Division One North. Brunt’s free kick close to half-time was the difference in an ill-tempered affair. Farsley Celtic moved up two places in the Evo Stik Division One North table after a stunning 7-0 victory over manager-less Witton Albion at Throstle Nest.
