NCEL clubs can have 150 people attending their friendlies from Saturday after the FA released new guidance. If a club hosts a successful friendly with 150, they can have 300 from Saturday 31st August. The promotion hopes of a substantial number of other clubs of overturning the FA’s decision to expunge the 2019/20 appear over after South Shields lost their appeal.
