A late goal denied Ossett Albion their first win of pre-season at Hemsworth Miners Welfare last night.
Kurtis Noble gave Albion the lead on the hour and Richard Tracey’s Evo Stik Division One North men appeared on course for victory over the side that claimed a notable Evo Stik scalp on Tuesday night.
Toolstation NCEL Division One side Hemsworth stunned Frickley Athletic and last night Darcy Pugh, who scored against Shaw Lane Aquaforce last week, popped up with the equaliser with time running out.
Ossett are next in action on Wednesday when they make the trip to West Yorkshire League Premier Division outfit Shelley.
Hemsworth also play the same night and Wayne Benn’s youngsters will host a Guiseley X1.
Referee: Mark Dwyer
Attendance: 95
